Features

The features and benefits of YardMaster®:

         • Maintains locations of rail equipment within the plant facility as well as surrounding            rail yards to the track and sequence level.
         • Creates switch lists such as railroad call-in, internal, rack and railroad pull. These            lists can be printed, faxed or e-mailed.
         • Improves loading options by railcar selection based product compatibility and            customer requirements.
         • YardMaster® easily interfaces with order systems handling last minute adds,            cancels, and revisions.
         • Processing of railcars and trucks is by drag and drop functionality to avoid entry of            the equipment ID's thus reducing transposition of equipment ID's.
         • Hot-listing feature allows flagging railcars in need of service to prevent order            assignment, load, or shipment until equipment is removed from hotlist.
         • Loading rack schedules for current and future days can be created with multiple per            day switches. A one-screen function is easy to use and provides a rack-centric            method of order and equipment assignment to racks.
         • Custom inspection checklists can be created by and used to record inbound and            outbound inspections.
         • YardMaster® provides easy interface with WaveNet™ portable and fixed AEI            readers allowing car inventory and status to be collected and updated immediately            from the field.
         • Provides volume correction and outage calculations. Stores outage/innage tables.
