RAILTRAC.com™ (RTC) is a web-based service that provides effortless communication to rail-served customers, shops, and suppliers regarding inbound loaded rail shipments, shop moves, and detention notification. A RAILTRAC® administrator can set up a "recipient" to receive this information via email on certain day and the web at anytime.
The
RTC screens are customized to mimic the shipper's website (in font, style,
and graphics) so that the users - your trading partners - receive a shipper
experience. In addition, RTC can be easily interfaced to your website
to integrate delivery of information based on orders and integrate any
shipment and expediting comments for customer access.
For detention
notification, RTC provides tools to send emails to customers who have or soon
will have held railcars over their allowance days.
